GOALS 2025 welcomes thousands of attendees, and features numerous high-profile 2nd Amendment (2A) speakers and experts at their event each August. Whether you’re an old hand or a first-timer at gun conventions, it’s always exciting to see the latest and greatest in guns, gear, and tactical innovation. Here’s what we like about GOALS, and what we recommend to get the most out of any firearm convention you attend.
What Makes GOALS Unique?
Although there are vendors at GOALS (and lots of cool stuff to look at), it’s not a gun show. The main focus of GOALS is 2A education and advocacy. Free to GOALS members, their annual conference keeps attendees on the cutting edge of firearm legislation, 2A protections, and more.
What we’re looking forward to this year:
- Meeting other gun business owners and discussing the trends and tricks of the trade.
- Updates from the 2A legal community about relevant Supreme Court cases, the Hearing Protection Act, Short-Barrel Rifle legislation, and other important legal updates for firearm owners and sellers.
- Mid-year drop of new products and innovations
- Seeing how GOALS compares to SHOT Show 2025 and other firearm conferences and events.
This will be our first time at GOALS, so it’ll be interesting to see their approach to organization/coordination, and the look and feel of their event compared with other 2A conferences.
Firearm Convention Survival Tips
Any time we’re headed to a gun convention, we pack our most comfortable/supportive shoes and boots and a backpack for swag. You’re going to be walking, listening, and talking… a LOT. Make sure you stay rested and hydrated before, during, and after the event.
It’s always important to do your due diligence, even if you’ve been to a firearm convention before. Rules and regulations change frequently. Brush up on:
- State and Local Firearm Laws for the Convention Destination
- Convention Hall Map and Vendor Layout
- Speaker/Panelist Bios and Background Info
- Event Safety and Security Rules [Event venues may take more precautions than strictly necessary by law to lower their risk.]
Gundalorium at Gun Cons: How We Stand Out
Aside from the Gundalorium helmet, you mean? We make every effort to be bold, respectful, and unabashed when it comes to our brand and what we stand for when attending any firearm convention, gun show, or 2A event. We’re not about the drama. We’re always looking for ways to create synergy and community between 2A advocates by amplifying our common voice/interests. Because of that, conventions are a great opportunity for social media education/collaboration.
And yes, we love collecting swag— and sharing it with fellow gun nerds. When you see us walking around, come grab a t-shirt, sticker, coaster, bottle opener, poker chip, and other cool s**t.
In-Person or Online: You’ve Found Your People
If you’re planning to come to GOALS, stop by and say hi! Whether you travel to conventions or not, we’re always excited to meet and connect with other firearm enthusiasts, hobbyists, and experts. Want to plan an event meet-up, or chat about your favorite new product drops? Jump on Discord with us: our Guild members are always ready to chat about all things guns and gear.

Safety Note: Firearm ownership comes with responsibilities. If you’re considering purchasing a firearm or other weapon, do your due diligence. Brush up on State and Federal laws, training and background check requirements, and any permits you’d need. Safe storage and usage is paramount to Gundalorian staff and Guild members.
