How was Gundalorium founded? 

BLUF: Talking to my brother on the phone about another one of my crazy inventions or idea…no, for real. 

For decades, our lives before Gundalorium somehow revolved around guns, gadgets, and gear, sharing websites of good deals and parts to our circle of friends. Whether we were in Law Enforcement, the Military, Executive Protection, Firearms Instructing, shooting competitions, or hunting, we’ve always been “Gun Guys.” My friends? Besides talking sh*t like the real life version of a Deadpool Script, we also talk about everything from sports, movies, and tech to the latest global fiascos, and a healthy dose of Johnny-one-up “Oh, this one time…” stories. Most times, we inevitably get on the topic of guns, gun rights, and the latest in tech and gear. So why not merge all that together into something….?

What started as a casual “Dude, get your FFL so you can transfer us guns” , no sh*t snowballed into a full-blown reality. Fast forward a few years, my wife asks, “What are you doing with this FFL gun thing?” My snarky reply? “If I’m REALLY going to do it, I need to go big or go home.” In essence,  “That’s What She Said!” Go figure… With a bag-tag nudge from the better half and terrible advice from few buddies who like to see me do all the hard work, I decided to focus my knowledge and experience into building something semi-epic. Enter the “Gundalorium, a Universe of Guns, Gadgets, and Gear.” Yeah, sounds pretty crazy, but at least I can admit it. L.F.G!

Two things: (1) We can’t stand douchey salesmen, and (2) we do not believe in overpaying for things we want. First order of business, build a website…but, we wanted it to be super-cool, fast, and easy to navigate and doesn’t look or feel like anyone else’s. More importantly, we also wanted to build a community of like-minded patriots (Gundalorians) who want to create a danger space, instead of a safe space. So, all the cool gun stuff you want, mixed with a modern, techy nerd vibe, superhero type shi*t, cool characters, some sweet soundtracks, and a website that just screams, WTF…who made this sh*t? Oh wait, and add a GundoMerch shop, the Blogs, the YouTubes, the Socials, you know, all the things. 

We’ve always believed in common sense gun advice – from seasoned shooters to newbies and those on the fence. However, having been on the crime scene of countless of “when bad guys with guns go bang,” and a few deployments to the sweatshop…we feel that it’s crucial to gun advocacy that we leave the dumb sh*t to the criminals and terries. We just need to ensure that get it right on our end, we protect ourselves, our loved ones, and all the other law-abiding citizens in this country.

So, our mission at Gundalorium is to help fellow gun owners, especially newer gun-casuals to feel part of the 2A community, without needing to be an ‘operator’ or being belittled by some cranky arrogant old douch-canoe behind the counter pushing overpriced paperweights. Creating the Gundalorian Guild is just as important to us as selling stuff. We can only do that as a team, as its too much to do alone. As a father and husband, getting it right, every time, means giving a sh*t and considering our customer’s training, safety, budget, lifestyle, experience, environment, patterns of life, and more. We nerd out about putting the right firearm in the right persons hands, checking all the boxes to make sure you’re set up for success.

So, that was a long winded welcome to Gundalorium – where guns, gadgets, and gear meet tech-savvy design and a “Gundalorian Guild”  that’s as inclusive as it is patriotic. Let’s try to get it right, together and keep our constituational rights in tact. Remember, as Gundalorians, we are under the microscope… and everytime we F-up, its another sh*t-post news headline and wacky gun bill sent up to the fun house. Semper Paratus… Semper Periculosus!
